Food Trip: Eat like a Greek Part 2

September 2015. Athens, Greece.

Another couple of days of eating like a Greek.

1. Acropolis Museum Restaurant
After our morning in the Acropolis, and just before we immersed ourselves in another history class, we helped ourselves to a hearty breakfast by the terrace of the Acropolis Museum.

Breakfast with a view of the Parthenon. What could be more touristy than that?

Must try's: Loukoumades (Greek fried donut balls with yummy syrup), pancakes, and some local brew. Beware: the coffee's strong. And I loved it!

2. Taverna Plaka
The Plaka Restaurant was one of the recommendations of our amazing AirBNB host, and we had a full Greek meal.

Must try's: Greek salad of course, Moussaka (pasta-free lasagne),

3. Coco's Ice Cream and Frozen Yogurt
A full day of walking under the heat of the summer sun, and we pretty much say yes to every ice cream parlor we see. This dainty place is a heaven to my eyes. Pink and white, and all things nice!

3. Street Food and Stalls
On our last morning in Athens, we bumped into this food stall and filled ourselves with some heavenly goodness! Koulouri is love.

Grabbed some Iced Cappuccino and Bailey's Frappe (another must-try), on our way to see some more ruins and museums, too! We were pumped up for another 4 hours to rush and see and experience everything we can in Athens.

Kisses. Hugs. And looking forward to another trip full of new experiences and good food! hihi
