Face Paints and Beer Showers

Sinulog 2013.

Celebrating the feast of the Child Jesus, Señor Santo Niño, every 3rd Sunday of January. After 9 days of novena masses and dances, a fluvial parade, a procession, the Sunday mass on the very feast, street dancing as an offertory to the Child Jesus - after the very holy 10 days of Cebuanos and tourists alike - the city just goes wild like there is no tomorrow.



Street party, baby! From free hugs and kisses from strangers, and slaps on the faces with paints, to showers of beer, to long walks and endless traffic and stampedes, what more can you ask for? The greatest festival of all!

My last night in Cebu was spent with these craziesss! :) Till the next Sinulog, guys!
