What's at stake when you think you've known whom they refer to as everyone worth knowing?

I'm done with Lauren Weisberger's second novel in the set. Everyone Worth Knowing has kind of the same story line and twists with The Devil Wears Prada.

It tells the story of Bette, who from being employed in the banking world suddenly got into the world of party and fashion. But even with her luck of getting paid to party, to meet celebrities and be treated as VIP, to drink till she drops in the hottest clubs and with the hottest people, she turned upside down her family and her friends' expectations on her. She got into the gossip columns, she turned down her best friend when she needed her the most, and put in line all her supposed priorities. 

And do you really think the people you think are worth knowing, really worth it? Could they give you the happiness you really deserve?

I still enjoyed the fashion sense, the parties, and of course, the love love part :)

Now, got to move on to the third book.
