South Trippin'

5th of May, 2011. Thursday.
An unplanned plan.

Road trip to the south with the crazy cast.

We planned the night before to meet up somewhere here and the others somewhere there at around 7am, and because of inevitable events, we were complete and off to the south at some time passed 9am.
No fuss about it! :)

Carcar Shoe Expo.
And of course, knowing me, I could not, not buy a pair. No matter how broke.
ha ha ha

Theotokos Shrine, Carcar.
That place of peace and prayer.
And the scene there is surely captivating.
It's my third time to be there, and there's always something new in the place.
They're already building a church now.

Saint Michael the Archangel Church, Argao.
Another place of worship and harmony.

Moments of quietness and moments with Him.

And then we looked for the famous Nature Park around there.
Asked directions from people on the road, and here we are!

Just outside Argao Nature Park.
We'll never miss these playgrounds.
It makes the day (and the photos) colorful! :p
Always, kids at heart.

Argao Nature Park.
There's the boating, the canopy walk, the zipline, the half-my-size chess pieces, wall climbing...
Adventure park, kiddie zoo, what-have-yous, we enjoyed every minute of it.

Now, Dalaguete.
Stopped by Phoebe's place; Batchoy for Lunch; and then inhaling all the sea breeze we can get, and the cloudy skies, the peaceful waters. I can stay there forever!

And again, I couldn't resist the beach!
So off we went to Alcoy.

Tingco Beach, Alcoy.
We expected we wouldn't be paying much out there because it was supposedly a public beach.
But what can I say, Summer is business.

Still worth it for me. I enjoyed every moment of it.
The teasing, the chats, even the not-so-angelic parts of it.
And Mr. Sun pitied my color so much that he decided not to shine too bright that day.
woohoo!

We caught the sunset as we drove along Boljoon and Santander.
Captured photos, and then to
Samboan we were off to.
For the beach supposedly. But it was too dark when we got there, and the sea was too far (uhm, i mean, low tide. haha) But yes, I still dipped. Couldn't resist, really!

Beautiful, happy day!
When we were on our way back to the city, it was raining quite hard, and it was already really dark, so instead of taking the other way, we took the same path home. And a lot of them were down, so they visited dreamland while we talked sense and nonsense. And we dropped by Ghewel's place in Sibonga for the shower.

Thanks to you guys! Now I think I shall mention all your names in this post.
Phoebe, Melvin, Princess, Insik, Ghewel, Honey, Tadz, Juvelle.
Time is definitely well spent with you.
All those laughter, and chats. :)
Till next time.
I want a Round North. Or South, but the other way around ;)
